Jim's Gold Miners win Molson Cup V in Zion National Park

Jim Cantrell and his Gold Miners proved that they can win at American and Canadian Football when they won the ZFL's annual Canadian rules Molson Cup tournament held Monday May 29 at Mike's cabin inside Zion National Park.
The Gold Miners beat Tony Iverson's Trouble 48-45 in the opening game of the tournament, kicking a 45 yard field goal on the last play of the game. Jim then broke open close games against Doug Spendlove's Thunder and Mike Large's Stampeders to win his first ever CFL Championship.

Although many ZFL tournaments have been held throughout Southern Utah through the years, this year's Molson Cup is the first ZFL tournament to be held within the boundries of Zion National Park.
