Falcons Fly to Holiday Bowl XV Championship!

(St. George, Utah)_Doug Spendlove played perhaps his best ever ZFL football in the 15th annual Holiday Bowl tournament, leading his Falcons to wins over 3 veteran teams, to capture his 1st ZFL championship since winning the Harvest Bowl in 2005. Doug's "Dirty Birds" beat Jim's Gold Miners (42-24), Mike's Posse (34-32), and Helen's Mynx (49-7) enroute to winning his 3rd ZFL Crown.

Beau and Candi Fisher hosted their 1st ever Zion Football League tournament at their beautiful home in St. George. This year's Holiday Bowl tournament featured lots of great games, good food and holiday cheer. The 12 ZFL teams that played in Holiday Bowl XV made it the largest tournament played in the Zion Football League in 2006.
