Tim's Heat Scorches Patriot Bowl !

(Hurricane, Utah)_Tim Spendlove's Hurricane Heat rolled to their second straight ZFL Crown, knocking down a Parowan Ram 2-point conversion pass with 4 plays left, ending the championship game of Patriot Bowl III at Spendlove Place, Hurricane Utah, July 4th, 2007.

That defensive stop allowed the Heat to again edge the Parowan Rams for the second straight ZFL championship game. The Heat also burned the Parowan Rams in last April's Zion Bowl Championship Game (45-31), and now has a 7 game winning streak in 2007 ZFL tournaments. That streak ties the Heat with 7 other ZFL Teams for 11th best in Zion Football League history.

In addition to their 24-22 win over the Parowan Rams, Tim's Heat also beat 3 other ZFL teams in the 11 team tournament field, the largest Patriot Bowl ever held.
