Posse Rides Again, Corral Kaibab Mountain Cows 42-24!

(Hurricane, Utah)_In a championship game that featured the ZFL's founding franchise, facing one of the league's newest rising stars, Mike's Posse were able to stop Justin's Kaibab Mountain Cows stampede through the Harvest Bowl tournament. The Cows migrated to their first championship game, then watched Mike's Posse lasso the thundering herd en route to a 35-17 halftime lead on 3 big TD returns. Justin's Kaibab Cows refused to die however, and dominated the second half. The Posse then rode to win their first ZFL Crown in two years. The Posse-Cow final highlighted the largest ZFL tournament held since 1989 and shattered the attendance record set at last month's Riffian Invitational.
The Spendlove Family were again great hosts and provided all kinds of great food, fun and friendship. A beautiful, sunny day in Hurricane blessed Spendlove Place with a great venue for the Zion Football League. Despite the home field advantage, the Spendloves posted only a 2-6 record against the rest of the ZFL, with All-Star Coach Tony Iverson, returning from a "power nap", rallying the non-Spendlove teams of the league. The "Final Four" of the Harvest Bowl featured no Spendloves.
