Spring Blossom Bowl I celebrates Carter's birth and welcomes ZFL fans to blossoming Hurricane, Utah!

(Hurricane, Utah)_ Zion Football League action returns to Hurricane, Utah on Saturday, March 28th as Tim, Alyssa, Katie, and Shawn host the first ever Spring Blossom Bowl at their home - 246 North 200 West in Hurricane. Doug Spendlove will act as coordinator and may be reached 24 hours a day at the Spendlove hotline @ 635-9633 and 619-4981. Activities at the Spring Blossom Bowl begin at 10 am. The highlight of the tournament will be meeting Carter Rhys Spendlove, the newest fan in the Zion Football League. Carter bounced into the life of Tim and Alyssa on March 6th, 2009 and weighed in at 6 pounds and 3 ounces. Mom, Dad and baby are doing great.

ZFL Notes_Giovanni's Salt Lake City Eagles are scheduled to appear at the tournament...Shawn's Assassins are 10 wins and 4 losses in their last five ZFL tourneys...all four of the Assassins losses were by a touchdown or less...Katie Spendlove has a lifetime record of 6 wins and 10 losses in ZFL tourney action...Shawndoggle has a lifetime record of 1 win and 5 losses...New daddy Tim and his Hurricane Heat team have blasted to a 20 win and 13 loss record the past two years, including two ZFL championships in 2007...
