Stallion's 10 Game Winning Streak Hosed 55-49 by Tim's Hosers in overtime at the Thunderdome!

(Hurricane, Utah)_Tim Spendlove's Hosers stunned the Zion Football League, ending Mike's CFL Stallions historic winning streak with a thrilling 55-49 overtime victory at the
Thunderdome. The Hoser defense returned a Stallion interception 107 yards for a touchdown in overtime, to steal a heart-thumping win over the two-timin' Molson Cup Champs. The Hosers forced the extra period when they launched a 60 yard TD Long Pass on the final play of regulation. Mike's CFL team overcame a 32-14 halftime deficit as the Stallions roared back to take a 42-39 lead early in the fourth quarter, and then drove for a TD late in the fourth period to lead 49-42 with three plays left, before the Hosers rolled their magic dice.

Shawn's Assassins Shoot Down John's Nighthawks 35-28 in Patriot Bowl V Championship Game!

perhaps their best tournament ever, swooping into overtime of the Patriot Bowl championship game. There, the Nighthawks were eliminated by Shawn's surging Assies 35-28. The win gives Shawn his third ZFL Crown, and places the Assassin's firmly on top of the 2009 ZFL standings. The Assassin/Nighthawk thriller highlighted yet another exceptional ZFL experience at warm & friendly Spendlove Hotel & Resort. Patriot Bowl V was the largest Patriot Bowl ever held with fourteen teams all vying for top honors, continuing the strong following that the Zion Football League has enjoyed in recent years.
