Posse rolled over the Zion Football League All Stars 54-31 to capture Birthday Bowl XXXV, held on January 22 at Posse Pavilion.

The Posse struck early in the January Classic, bolting out to a 20-0 lead in the first eight plays with a 42 yard touchdown strike and a 4 yard TD Halfback Pass leading the way. The ZFL All Stars were hampered by three interceptions on their first three possessions that also led to a 60 yard TD Interception Return by the Posse. In the second half the Posse marched for a touchdown on their opening possession, a 12 yard Short Pass which gave the Posse a 30-7 lead. Following a ZFL All Star Kick Return fumble in the endzone that was recovered by the Posse special teams, coach Mike's team was cruising with a 37-7 lead. The Posse then rolled a 93 yard TD Inside Run to take a 44-21 lead at the end of three quarters.

Both teams traded scores late in the second half as Coach Tim's All Stars continued to battle. After a 22 yard Field Goal gave the Posse a 47-21 early in the fourth quarter, the ZFL All Star defense recorded a QB Sack for a Safety. Then late in the game Eagle QB Giovanni came in and led the ZFL All Stars on a thirteen play march that finished with a 17 yard TD Fake Field Goal Pass. Going down swinging Gio successfully passed for the two point conversion and the final 54-31 tally.

Birthday Bowl XXXV featured a delicious buffet that featured chili, spanish rice, enchiladas and excellent cakes for desserts.
