Molson Cup Rescheduled To June 10th in Virgin, Utah!

The Zion Football League announced today that Molson Cup XI has been rescheduled from June 3rd to Sunday June 10th at Susie and Shawn's Virgin compound in the scenic mesa country of eastern Washington County.

The change in the date was due in part to some health issues with ZFL teams, plus a rock and roll festival in Beaver Dam, Arizona and the Zion Football League's commitment to presenting the best possible field of Canadian Football Armchair Football teams.

The Sportsbook in Mesquite, NV continues to like Shawn's CFL Assassins as the favorite to win the eleventh annual Molson Cup. The CFL Assies are 4-1 favorites to win the prestigious Canadian Chalice, while Jim's 2012 Zion Cup III Champs follow close behind with 5-1 odds. Oddly, Mike's Stallions are a surprising 10-1 bookie choice to capture Canadian Football Gold.

Molson Cup XI Showcases CFL Armchair Football at Susie and Shawn's Cool Virgin Compound!

eleventh annual Molson Cup will take place on Sunday, June 3rd, at  Susie and Shawn's home in warm and friendly Virgin. The Molson Cup will feature high scoring Canadian armchair football amidst the scenic mesa country of eastern Washington County. Mike will provide a summer time bounty of hot dogs, chips, baked beans and other treats. ZFL fans are asked to provide their delicious treats to the ZFL buffet. Activities will kick off at 11 am.

Future Zion Football League Superstar Jax Scrimmages inside Zion National Park!

(Zion National Park, Utah)_Jax Michael Octave Courtielle made the fourth southern Utah pilgrimage of his life when he came to Zion National Park on the week of May 5th. The grandson of ZFL commissioner Mike Large, Jax took the opportunity to not only begin his outdoor camping training, but also ran some football plays in front of Zion Football League scouts who admired his speed and ability to evade tackles beneath the majestic cliffs of Zion.

Jax and grandpa spent an enjoyable three days together camping and exploring inside scenic Oak Creek Canyon. A direct satellite feed was set up in Zion so that Jax would not miss the adventures of his friend SpongeBob Squarepants.

Stallions Trample Assassins 42-27 in CFL Exhibition Game

(Virgin, Utah)_As the sleepy hamlet of Virgin prepares to host it's first ever Molson Cup tournament, Mike's Stallions invaded on May 12th and showed the local fans what to expect as they slayed Shawn's Assassins
42-27. The Stallions scored on a 95 yard Interception return for a TD in the second quarter to seize a 21-10 lead.

The CFL Assies blocked two Stallion punts and returned a kick-off 98 yards for a touchdown, but it wasn't enough as the big, bad and blue Stallions tossed two TD passes late in the third period to grab a insurmountable 42-26 lead. The Assies booted a punt 73 yard into the Stallion endzone for a rougue/single to score the only point in the fourth quarter as the Stallions rolled to a big 42-27 victory over the hometown Assassins.

Susie and Shawn's scenic home will host Molson Cup XI on Sunday June 3rd with activities kicking off at 10 am.
