Stoners Kick Last Play Field Goal to Escape Posse 27-24!

(Hurricane, Utah)_Using a 33 yard punt return to set up great field postion with only two plays left in the game, Tony's smokin' Stoners kicked a 18 yard Field Goal as time expired to slip past Mike's Posse 27-24 on a cool July 21th. The Posse blocked a Stoner Punt and recovered the ball in the endzone for a Posse touchdown and a 24-24 tie midway in the fourth quarter. The Stoners soon forced the Posse to punt with only three plays left and then proceeded to march to the winning points.

With the ZFL exhibition game loss, the Posse fell to a record of 3 wins and 5 losses in 2012. That record includes a weak 0-3 Posse record in Zion Football League tournament play, a shockingly bad start for last year's best ZFL tournament team.

Coaches Tony and Mike are scheduled to lead their CFL teams, the Toronto Tweakers and the Stallions respectively, into a CFL battle on the eve of the Southern Utah Classic VI at cool and scenic Kolob Reservoir on August 11th.

Looks to us like the Stoner
cheerleader is a willing party in the babecage.
