Tony's Toronto Tweakers Roll in Zion National Park and Win Their First Molson Cup Since 2005!

Molson Cup IX was held at Mike's stylish cabin in Zion National Park and featured an excellent buffet highlighted by Mike's spaghetti and meatballs. This year's Molson Cup tournament featured nine teams for only the second time in CFL armchair football history.
Molson Cup Notes
The mighty Toronto Tweakers led the hapless Chippewa 34-15 late in the fourth quarter of the championship game before calling off the dogs…The Chips rolled big dice in their first two tourney games, including a 61-31 victory over Jim's Gold Miners and a 51-21 clapping of Doug's distant Thunder…In semi-final action, John's Gulls led the terrible Tweaks 21-20 in the middle of the third quarter before falling 42-21….In the opening round, Helen's French Frogs threw a 91 yard TD strike to capture a 46-42 lead over the whiskey swilling Tweakers with five plays left in the game…The Tweaks then launched a 47 yard TD bomb and followed up with a Safety to cut up the Frogs 51-46…Shawn's Assassins were assayed 55-28 by the Gold Miners in the quarter-finals… Preston's 2010 CFL Zion Cup Champion Canadian Pimp Wagon threw seven interceptions in their first round 37-24 loss to the Assies…John's Gulls stunned the Molson Cup crowd with a shocking 41-38 overtime win over Mike's two-timin' Molson Cup defending champion Stallions in the opening round…
