Stallion Defense Melts David's Tundra 35-10 in CFL Action inside Zion National Park!

(Zion National Park, Utah) In a CFL contest that was much closer than the final score indicates, Mike's mighty CFL Stallions drilled on David's Tundra 35-10 in scenic Stallion Stadium on April 29th. Mike's big, bad, and blue defense forced eight Tundra turnovers. On four other occasions the Stallion defense caused the Tundra to turnover possession on downs. As a result the Tundra offense did not score their only major, a 3 yard TD Short Pass, until there were only six plays in the game.

The Stallion offense struggled as well, also committing eight turnovers, but did manage to toss three touchdown passes to control the tempo of the game.

In a wild CFL chess move, the Tundra elected to punt a missed Stallion field goal out of the endzone with an Endzone Kick at the end of the first half. The Stallions returned that punt for a 19 yard TD punt return and a 21-3 halftime lead.

The Stallion-Tundra CFL exhibition armchair football contest was a warm up for the upcoming Molson Cup X tournament, to be held on May 22nd at Mike's historic cabin in Zion National Park.

Hurricane Heat Captures 27th Zion Bowl, Melting Kellie's Criminals 56-21 in Championship Game!

(Zion National Park, Utah) Showcasing an offensive dice toss that boggled the mind, Tim's Hurricane Heat rolled through the twenty-seventh Zion Bowl before blitzing Kellie's Criminals 56-21 in the championship game. The Heat's high-scoring offense and special teams launched Tim to his fifth ZFL championship, catapulting his Heat from 13th to 10th place in the all-time ZFL tournament standings. The powerful Heat captured their second Zion Bowl crown as their defense intercepted ten Criminal passes that set up Tim's powerful and fiery offense which then took over and converted four of those turnovers into TDs. The feast provided by ZFL fans and Zion National Park's natural beauty created a beautiful day in Oak Creek Canyon as the Zion Football League celebrated 27 years in southern Utah and the start of another great year!
