Southern Utah Classic IV Heads to the Top of Zion Park enroute to Kolob Reservoir!
(Kolob, Utah)_The Zion Football League is happy to announce that the fourth annual Southern Utah Classic will be held high on the Kolob Terrace on Sunday August 15, 2010. In a first for the Zion Football League, Hall of Famer Doug Spendlove will coordinate the first ZFL tournament to be held above 8,000 feet in elevation. The wild ZFL weekend will kick off on Saturday night with a country dutch oven cookout that will be led by Chef Doug's dutch oven roast and, for dessert, a peach cobbler treat. Master Chefs Beau and Shawn will provide fixings, veggies, and dutch oven potatoes to enhance the feast. All ZFL fans are asked to bring extra treats, sandwich fixin's, as well as eggs and other stuff for the sizzlin' Sunday morning pre-tournament brunch.**PLEASE REMEMBER** Bring your own water and ice chests.

Sunday's tournament action will kick-off at 10 am…John's Nighthawks flew high over the Pine Valley Mountains last August as they claimed Southern Utah Classic III with a 33-26 win over 2009's hottest ZFL team - The Assassins… Mike's Posse won Southern Utah Classic II in 2008 with a 48-14 rout over Barb's Ghostriders in the title tilt…Shawn's mighty Assassins squeaked past Helen's Mynx 28-26 in the first SUC Championship, held in 2007…ZFL Sportsmen Doug, Beau, Jim, and Shawn will host a fishing clinic on the shores of Kolob Reservoir at 4:30 am on Sunday morning…

ZFL weather forecast: Sunny and mild with a chance of Cowboy DOMINANCE. API reports that the Cowboys are ready for the SUC at Kolob. Coach Fisher has allready staked out his home field as of last weekend and is ready for battle against all comers. CBS CORRESPONDANT: Eric Severied

Perhaps the ZFL weather forecast should have read "Sunny and a Mild chance of Cowboy dominance" LOL...
