Shawn's Assassins Capture Second Straight ZFL Crown, Beat Heat 24-14 in Harvest Bowl VIII!

(Hurricane, Utah)_Recapturing the form, and dice roll, that led his Assassins to the best record in the Zion Football League in 2009, Shawn's Assassins beat Tim's Heat 24-14 in the championship game of Harvest Bowl VIII held at Spendlove Place on November 21. The Assies have won back to back ZFL tournaments and have catapulted into first place in the ZFL's 2010 standings. The Assassins blasted the ZFL's top two teams enroute to the Harvest Crown. In the first round Beau's highriding Cowboys fell to the Assies 37-26 . Shawn then shot down John's Nighthawks 52-20 in the semi-finals to roll into the championship game.

Harvest Bowl hosts Kathy and Doug provided a beautiful Thanksgiving feast along with all the trimmings for the Zion Football League faithful. Turkey was served up along with exciting armchair football at warm and friendly Spendlove Place.
