Assassins and Virgins invite the ZFL to beautiful Virgin for Labor Day fun and games!

(Virgin, Utah)_ Susie Brindley has been a ZFL fan for over a year. Watching and learning, she now takes the next step in armchair football craziness. Susie recently led her new ZFL expansion team - the Virgin Virgins - to a stunning win over Shawn's Assassins in the first game she ever played. Now Susie and Shawn will open their home and host the first ever East Virgin Invitational ZFL tournament on Sunday, September 7th. Shawn has promised to make his grand Jambalaya, with the rest of the league asked to bring their usual great favorites.

ZFL Notes_The East Virgin Invitational is the fourth ZFL tournament to be held in the Virgin area...Three other ZFL tourneys were held along North Creek, north of civilized Virgin, between 1998 and 2000...Susie's Virgins have posted a 2 win 1 loss record in her first three games...Mike's Stallions slipped past Shawn's Assassins 57-54 in CFL overtime at Stallion Stadium on August 23rd...

BREAKING NEWS_Susie's Virgins threw a 45 yard TD strike in overtime to stun Mike's Posse 45-38 in Virgin, Utah on September 1st. The Virgins and Posse exchanged TD passes through-out the shoot out that was part of the "Labour Day Classic" celebration held in Virgin in anticipation of the East Virgin Invitational which will be held next Sunday, September 7th. Shawn edged Barb's Ghostriders 45-42 in the opening game, as his Assassins kicked the game winning 21 yard field goal with four plays left in the game.
